The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

I prefer pride to denial it is the most gracious of sins. It distributes the anger judiciously, and protects from reality, like a firm handshake swift and divisive, without question it delivers. Like a skilled carpenter, building walls that scale the heavens from the depths of the earth. It covers a wider range of emotions in half the time. Pride is simply effective, it guards me from all truths. Between truths about ourselves to truths about others dissociation is born. It is the master of deception, much more cunning than denial. Like a sharpshooter, weaving its way to the heart of the matter it kills sound judgment then disappears into the night. Pride is the intellect's weapon, an invitation to a new world perspective, It gives me what I deserve before all is forgotten.
